Your Data, Your Device

Atomic Streaks is built with a local-first architecture. This means:

• Your habits, streaks, and completion history are stored only on your device
• No account creation is required to use the app
• You can export your data anytime using the built-in backup feature

Anonymous Analytics

To improve the app experience, we collect anonymized usage data through Mixpanel (EU endpoint). You are identified only by an anonymous UUID — no personally identifiable information (PII) is ever collected. Analytics data includes:

• App opens and feature interactions
• Device type (iPhone model category)
• App version

We never collect: The names of your habits, your identity labels, your motivations, or any content you create. Your personal growth journey stays completely private.

Push Notifications

If you enable notifications, we use Expo Push Notifications to send you reminders. This requires a device-specific token that is only used to deliver notifications to your device.

• Notifications are opt-in and can be disabled anytime
• Notification tokens are not linked to personal data
• All notification preferences are stored locally on your device

iCloud Backup

Atomic Streaks offers optional backup to your personal iCloud account. When enabled:

• Your habit data is stored in your iCloud storage, not on our servers
• We do not have access to your iCloud data
• Backups are encrypted by Apple's iCloud security
• You can disable automatic backups at any time in Settings
• You can delete your backup data through your device's iCloud settings

This feature requires iCloud to be enabled on your device.

What We Don't Do

• Sell your data to third parties
• Display advertisements
• Track your location
• Access your contacts, photos, or other device data

Data Security

• Local habit data is protected by your device's security features
• Analytics data transmitted to Mixpanel is encrypted in transit
• We follow industry-standard security practices

Children's Privacy

Atomic Streaks is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or our website.
